How To Sell At Craft Shows and Turn Your Crafts Into Your Goldmine of Ca$h
There are a lot of people who love making crafts and they’ve often thought about how to sell at craft shows. They’re making all sorts of different crafts from jewelry to home decor, fun stuff and serious gifts.
And they’ve actually sold quite a few of their craft items either at work or to friends and family. Well, once you’ve crafted some cool things that people have actually paid for, the next logical step, if you want to make even more money with your crafts, is to start renting space at some local craft shows.
Getting a wider audience for your items is a great way to see if you have enough of a market for your crafts so that you can turn your hobby into a nice little home-based business.
Now, there are a few ways to learn how to sell at craft shows. One of the first things you can do, if you haven’t already, is check out some of your local craft fairs to see what other people are selling. Check out the tables or booths that have a lot of lookers and buyers at them and you’ll know what’s really selling well.
Next, put together a list of craft shows around in your area where you’d like to set up. It’s a good idea to start out with some of the fairs that don’t charge a lot for a table or space to set up.
Learning how to sell at craft shows is usually a trial and error, repeat and learn experience. Set up some practice table displays from home a few times before you actually take your show on the road. This way you’ll know how long it takes you to get set up and you’ll know how much to take with you to make a good presentation.
You want your display to stand out, but you don’t want it to take too long to get set up either or you’ll still be getting organized well after potential buyers have walked right by your table because you’re not ready yet.
So you want to be courteous – be on time, know what you’re doing, and be ready for the potential buyers before the doors open. And that can take some practice. If you know ahead of time how long it’s going to take to set up, you’ll know how early you need to get to your designated area before they open the doors.
If you’ve done your research and you’ve learned how to sell at craft shows, you should have very successful turnouts and cash for your efforts.

If you’ve been looking for something fresh, exciting and something your friends and guests will really talk about, dress up – or down – your guests tables with these redneck wine glasses!
These redneck wine glasses will add some down home country flavor to any wedding decor, no matter how fancy or down-on-the-farm casual you’re planning your wedding to be.
You can leave them simple with just the raffia tied on, add some black and white tulle to depict the bride and groom, or open up the lids and place some candies inside.
Since a lot of couples give away the centerpieces, what fun it will be to give away a couple of sets of these redneck wine glasses! Fill them with chocolates or mini bottles of wine or champagne for the winning guests to savor after the formal festivities are over.
Or maybe you’re not sure what special gift to give your best man and maid or matron of honor. Why not give them each a redneck wine glass instead of a traditional beer stein! Then instead of etching them, just put a lottery ticket or a gift certificate inside the glass.
Redneck wine glasses aren’t gender or specific either! Men and women, young and old, will love these country favorites and you’ll love seeing the smiles on their faces when they see them too!

Valentine Designs For The Bride’s Wedding Nails
It’s almost February, and we’re going to share some easy nail art Valentine designs for all of you beginners out there just like me. I’m a beginner nail artist myself and for me, the easier and simpler, the better.
Most of the ideas for these nail art designs are made with some pretty basic romantic colors that can be mixed, matched and blended for elegant and romantic nail designs or toned down using some very basic techniques using shades of reds, pinks, silvers and whites.
Freehand Valentine Designs
Using freehand strokes in the video below, you can create some simple hearts that you can make stand out and sparkle simply by alternating some contrasting colors. This video shows how to create simple hearts using a dotting tool, which for beginners can simply be the end of an orange stick, paintbrush, or even a pin with a round ball head.
Once you’ve made the hearts, you can contrast them with different colors of dots around the hearts like silver or purple, or embellish your designs with a glittery top coat or add small rhinestones.
Valentine Designs Using Nail Art Stamping
Nail art stamping is quickly becoming one of the most popular alternatives to going to a salon to get fancy designs. Just about any nail stamping kit comes with a variety of holiday and special occasion designs including hearts and roses that you can use for creating some awesomely stunning nail art in soft colors or darker contrasting colors.
This next video I found shows just how to use a nail stamp to make lovely Valentine designs using a sponge for a beginner-easy French manicure (which is how I do my own French manicure in fact!) and then using a stamp to decorate the tips.
Again, use this video as a guide to coming up with your own unique designs using different templates and colors and adding your own embellishments to make your nail art designs stand out from anyone else’s – guaranteed to get you some nice compliments. Everyone will think you spent hours and lots of cash getting your Valentine designs done at the salon!
And remember, with either of the designs shown in the above videos, you can use whatever colors you want! So instead of pinks, you can use reds on whites, purples, etc., whatever your heart desires.
These videos are great for learning some simple, easy, beginners nail art techniques! And since Valentine’s Day is often a day when couples get married, most of these same colors and designs can be used for wedding nails as well!
